The R&D Interfaces Forum provides an opportunity for key stakeholders to share lessons and effective practices related to industry-university translational R&D.
The aim of the Forum is to provide an opportunity for practitioners and policy makers to exchange emerging insights, evolving practices and lessons learned associated with the translation of R&D. In addition, the Forum offers an opportunity to increase mutual awareness of the varied perspectives of stakeholders with different cultures, objectives and constraints.
Workshops will offer an opportunity for participants to hear from experienced practitioners and to take part in working group sessions to exchange ideas and lessons learned. Particular emphasis will be given to new policies and practices designed in response to major current drivers and trends, such as:
Workshop agendas and content will be designed to ensure that participants leave with real practical knowledge to enable and enhance policies and procedures within their own organisation.
The events team has a wealth of know-how and experience in convening events, from small seminars to major conferences, gained through its work with the Cambridge-MIT Institute, the Institute for Manufacturing, and a range of national public bodies.
