The Forum provides a professional event management service, from sourcing venues and speakers to designing feedback forms and producing a written report.

In addition to events related to the research outputs of the R&D Interfaces Programme itself, the R&D Interfaces Forum also hosts external workshops and symposia for its clients on themes closely related to the goals of the R&D Interfaces Programme and of benefit to the national and regional economy and society. 

Clients may choose to receive the full events ‘package’ or select from a range of services to suit their needs. 

Services include: 

  • Advice and guidance on event requirements;
  • Writing proposals and designing agendas;
  • Managing an events budget;
  • Sourcing venues;
  • Publicising events on our website;
  • Identifying and inviting speakers;
  • Inviting and dealing with delegates;
  • Organising travel and accommodation;
  • Producing delegate packs and badges;
  • Managing onsite registration;
  • Co-ordinating with all suppliers involved with the event;
  • Designing & evaluating delegate feedback forms;
  • Recording and webcasting the event;
  • Archiving presentations and videos on our website;
  • Producing a write-up or report after the event;
  • Identifying topics for future workshops.

In addition to providing a full range of event management services, the Forum has access to a growing network of speakers, delegates and partners working in the public, private and voluntary sectors, including industry seniors, university researchers and officers, and HE funders in both the UK and USA.
